Paragliding Accuracy Worlds 2011

New World Champions are from Slovenia and Czech Republic

Anton Svolsjak from Slovenia, Markéta Tomášková from Czech Republic and team Slovenia are winners of the 6th FAI World Paragliding Accuracy Championship 2011.
Championship had been officialy closed on Saturday 30th July 2011 by Andy Cowley, FAI Jury President, at the end of prize giving ceremony.
Congratulations for all competitors and thanks for comming to Czech Republic! See you next time!

Sat 30th July - 4th round completed

Four competition rounds are completed. We started 5th, but we didn't complete it before sunset. Today we have big problems with strong wind, so it looks that we will finish competition with 4 rounds. Closing ceremony will start at 6 pm.

 

Fri 29th July - Almost 4 rounds completed!

We finished 3rd round yesterday on Velky Javornik so the competition should be valid. More than 60 pilots also flew theirs 4th competition attempt.
Today it's a little bit foggy in Kuncice so we are waiting for better weather again.

Thu 28th July - Valid competiton today?

Yesterday we finished 2nd competiton round and began the 3rd. We need send about ten pilots to the air for finishing this round and have championship valid.

Wed 27th July - 2nd round continue

We had a party with international food presentations yesterday. All countries prepared something traditional so we had wonderful evening.
Today it is a little bit foggy but 2nd round continue from 10:30 on Javornik.
